X-Men: Is Magneto Right?

Hello lovely patrons! Here's a video about liberalism, violence, revolution, and X-Men! It's a collab with NerdSync and I'm particularly proud of it!

X-Men: Is Magneto Right?

Hello there. While I do agree that sometimes violence produces desirable outcomes - especially if enough is used and the target of said violence is no longer able to write history in their favour - I also think the video is a bit one-sided and actually does advocate violence as a legit tool for a revolution since it does not give any examples of other (and in my opinon more modern) tools to achieve lasting effects. I'm only a humble biologist so my list of fitting examples is only comprised of the clichèd fall of the Berlin wall (ok, not possible without a somewhat peace-minded Grobatschow, but I'm from Germany so it is close to my heart) and the thing which drove you Brits out of India. Come on - you can't expect anyone to believe your "I do not condone violence"-bit on a piece of revolutions and then leave out Gandhi (but have the Cuban revolution in where one undisreable regime was exchanged for another as an example for a really successful change).

And another video shared to Facebook in a desperate attempt to get my friends to think.
