RE: your responsibility. I guess that's sort of true, but more importantly, I am (we are?) supporting *you*, not just the content you create. It is hard to divorce those two from an audience's perspective, but the point is: please take care of yourself at the same time. Your responsibility to me does not extend beyond your own well-being, as far as I'm concerned.

You make very good videos on topics you are clearly passionate about and you spend the time and attention to have a meaningful conversation with your viewers. That's rare. So when you tell your viewers you need their help and give them an easy channel to provide that help they will. Keep on making good videos on topics that you are passionate about and having that conversation and you will continue both to do well (financially) and do good (effect).
