Thank You for Your Support this December

As 2017 shuffles offstage in ignominy I wanted to say thank you for your support, especially this December. It has been a very difficult month for me. You already know or can guess about the fallout from the Antifa video, some of which was predictably unpleasant, and the Patreon fracas (if you missed that don't worry, it's resolved though it was highly stressful at the time).
What you couldn't have known was that whilst those comparatively minor problems were going on, multiple personal tragedies, the details of which I won't bore you with, brought me and my loved ones to the threshold of Hell. These have been some of the very worst days of my life.
What you also couldn't have known was just how much your support meant to me in this time, and continues to mean. The fact that I was able to prerecord December's videos and take that time to deal with what was happening was invaluable. Thank you all so, so much. Not only did your financial help give me room to take care of myself and the people who needed me to take care of them, but messages of support from you and the regular fans of the show - messages that nobody knew were so timely but were just ordinary expressions of positivity - were suddenly precious lights in a godawful darkness. Even just everyday interactions on Twitter were, and still are, an enormous boost to my well-being.
It'll take time for me and those around to emotionally heal from December 2017 and deal with its fallout. Sadly some precious things, and people, have been lost forever. But the show goes on! I have some great stuff planned for the New Year, which will be made possible thanks to all of you. There shouldn't be any disruption to the normal release schedule.

Hi Olly, Just sending you a quick message to let you know how important you are to me. I am a PhD student in Engineering while getting a long distance bachelors degree in Philosophy. Watching your videos has inspired me from the beginning. When taking exams and writing my essays, I am actually writing with your voice in my head. I am glad you are around doing what your are doing, and I hope you will be doing it for a long time. Nevertheless, time for healing is important. Take the time you need. A few months with no new video will not scare anyone away!

I'm very sorry to hear you've been dealing with tragedy but I'm glad our support was valuable to you in this trying period and that you could take some time off ❤ We all appreciate you and work very much always at any rate, and im always happy and grateful when I remember that ppl like you exist on this Earth and try to build a better tomorrow.
