Hi Olly! During a discussion with a brain researcher of one of the worldwide leading institutes, he stuns me by saying that our rational is actually the MARIONETTE, while our emotions are the PUPPETEER (the puppet's operator). Of course, he supported that claim strongly with examples and scientific evidences. My question is – don't you think that the term 'rational' is just a term of a bundle of social conventions, while most of the time we as a human creatures, are using this term for post explanations for our emotions (that produce will, actions, thoughts and believes)? Thanks for sharing and keep doing your important and great work 😊
