1:15 about different kinds of reasons.. Are reasons of different kinds fungible with each other (one kind of reason can invalidate, support, or weaken another of a different kind)? If so, there's also a problem of calculus translating the effects of different kinds of reasons on other kinds of reasons, or there's not much use in making the distinction between kinds I think. If not, then the reasons are very similar to the "Objective Function" construct in an AI training algorithm, in that they can be reduced to at least a personal model/measure of preferredness for deciding/a decision. THIS is fascinating, because it provides a new didactic tool to formally (taking liberties that numerical models are like platonic forms) explore different systems of reason and Ethics in video games through AI driven NPC caricatures.
