2019-03-09 23:56:38 +0000 UTCYou know, it *is* kind of a joke, but I am ALSO all for it happening. :D Trying to get my head around the idea that Praxis can be fun or silly, so long as it is still actually *useful*, and properly respects the needs of the people that one is trying to help. ( For instance, at first, I was going to throw away the joke entirely; because I figured that fresh produce would be much more useful for a poor community. Yet, the fact is that poor people tend to work so hard, that they just don't have the time to cook anyway: and so, roasting the food before gifting it isn't quite so bad an idea after all. Besides, if we wanted to include fresh produce, we could still do it, as long as there was still heartier, ready-to-eat fare as the main focus. ...Because, I mean, the produce might be healthier, but the heartier stuff is what gets one through an average day of struggle. )
