Behind-the-Scenes Pics: Climate Grief

I just wrapped on my next video, working title Climate Grief. Here are some fun pictures from the set!
One of the most noticeable things about this video is the amazing costume that I commissioned @Amber_InMotion to make! The brief I gave them was 'Post Apocalyptic Funeral'
We worked together to develop the look: I was keen to have a funeral suit be the base layer, with little details like plants growing out of it on top
The headdress and veil were incredibly done - here you can see a bit more of the detail
And this is the completed look! Meet Odradek - the Last Priest.
Odradek is a strange being from the end of time - It has lived long and seen much
I put on my usual natural makeup face, then layered white concealer over the top with eyeshadow and eyeliner around the eyes and just a little bit of mascara - I wanted Odradek's eyes to appear larger than my normal ones. I finished the look off with blackout contact lenses
And of course, the wig! If I had had more time I would have liked to use thinning scissors to make it a little less thick, but I settled for just brushing it how I wanted
It required several bobby pins and a wig cap to keep in place!
Odradek's creepy glow was produced by backlighting myself with a LIFX bulb
I'm pleased that this episode is going to have a lot of philosophical depth to it as well, and draws on several Indigenous philosophers
And Odradek isn't the only character making an appearance...
I'm really looking forward to this one, I think it's going to be a tight little episode! I'll have screenshots for you all soon. Once again, the costume was made my @Amber_InMotion on Twitter, who also has a website here! I'm hoping to have this one out before the Shakespeare Stream next week, but can't make any promises! $15+ Patrons will get to see it early!

I always use nude eyeliner in the waterline when I want my eyes to look bigger. I love a cartoonishly big eye look for myself tbh ;alsdkjf lmao Psyched for this to drop aaaahhh
