OLLY. I just watched this video with captions and noticed all the stuff you put into the end credits. It looks like you were self-conscious about this one, but it was honestly one of my all-time favorites! These are exactly the kinds of topics that most people have a vague understanding of but don’t explore all that often. Hi i'm new here, been subscribed to the channel for about a year now... just wanted to say I always love the links you draw through in your vids (also this vid was hilarious as well as smart). As someone with a degree in civil engineering and also someone who turned out to know someone who lived in Grenfell (thankfully her and her family survived) that particular cost-saving choice of cladding truly makes my blood boil... also when i think about how much stuff doesn't get done because of white fragility it's tragic so thanks for giving that a mention. Anyway here's my 2 quid and thanks

Regarding intergenerational collective responsibility, I wonder how peoples' views would change if put in the context of something like being gifted stolen goods. In the US, you can be criminally liable for the possession if you knew what you received was stolen. If you did not know it was stolen, you are not criminally liable, but you still have to give back the stuff you had that turned out to be stolen. I would imagine the only people who would consistently argue against returning stolen goods are pawn shop owners and anyone who has bought art from a Nazi.
