Screengrabs - 'Queer ✨'

Hello lovely Patrons!

Editing is proceeding nicely on the next video; I'm waiting on the final versions of the songs and then I can get it rendered and uploaded, so it's over to the musicians now! It's looking like Monday night could be the night for the premiere (I'm going away on Tuesday so that's the latest I could do it anyway); if it's ready sooner then $15+ Patrons will of course get to see it early, and in the meantime, enjoy these screengrabs!

What do you do if your song has multiple roles? You SING ALL OF THEM.

Alice Pope-Terry helped me light this scene and she did a super job - I love the shadows we've sculpted around my cheekbones in this shot!

Through the magic of editing we can have a duet between Yer Mum and Yer Dad! Awww!

A duet that can turn sinister...

We used a handheld camera to get these lovely little inserts - they came out really well!

Fun fact - the lightbulb on the far right was broken so we unscrewed the one on the far left to make the shot symmetrical

I like this little segment, it came together more or less at the last minute and really elevates the video. That costume on that background says something particular that matches up very nicely to what I'm talking about in these few paragraphs.

Strong criminologist vibes from this set, though that was in fact unintentional

There's a really nice section in this video about the history of lesbian fashion that I'm quite proud of writing-wise: it really serves as a great example and ties a lot of stuff together

This is another one of those moments where you have a last minute idea and it works really well: on the morning of this shoot I woke up and decided to just chuck a poker set and a red velvet curtain into my bag to see if we could do anything with it, and it ended up looking fantastic!

Often by the time a video comes out I've seen it so many times that I'm sick of it and I see only the flaws; this time however I'm grinning from ear to ear as I edit! I think this is going to be spectacular! It's also definitely going to be demonetised, both for copyright reasons and subject matter, and once again I've declined a sponsorship because I didn't feel it would fit the theme - so I'd like to say an extra big thank you to all of you! This is the kind of fantastic content that can only be made through the generosity of the audience, and I hope you'll join me at the premiere!
