Hello, Abigail. This didn't come to me in time for the live chat, so I'm posting it, here.. regarding the problem that Kyle Landry raises (how to keep the notes that are not being played from stretching toward infinity): There's a saying in the Disability Rights community that might be helpful: "Nothing about us without us," which at least puts some boundary limits on the set. Shifting from a music analogy to a storytelling one: Are you telling a story about people, and turning them into props and setting, while denying them the chance to speak with their own voices? Are you acknowledging that they even have a voice? This might also help in disentangling the threads on social media, when a post gets twisted and taken out of context: do the people adding their own ideologies to the mix have a stake in this particular story, or are they jumping on stage and shouting over the principle actors?
