BTS Pics - 'Vaccines & Freedom'

We filmed my next episode today, working title Vaccines & Freedom! I think this one's gonna be really good - here are some behind the scenes pictures!
The title more or less tells you what it's about; we'll be discussing vaccines and covid and bodily autonomy and all sorts of fun things in that vein!
This video is actually the culmination of a long-running project that I've been part of to interview voluntarily unvaccinated people! Full details are in the video, but it's been really interesting!
Stylist Brian Conway returned to design the outfits - I needed one that was like a futuristic scientist, and we settled on this amazing iridescent silver look!
We also kept things cosy and friendly for a more relaxed section of the video
Makeup artist Nicki Buglewicz also returned to do the makeup and hair - the asymmetrical crystal details on this look are so lovely!
I was pleased to be joined by a little cuddly friend for the shoot!
It was actually quite a difficult shoot, as they go: we had a lot of time pressure and a bit of construction noise from next door to contend with, but we got through it!
Long time fans of the show might recognise this as the same venue in which we shot Abortion & Ben Shapiro and Queerβ¨!
I really did a lot of research on this one, I think it has more citations than any other episode I've done before. I've really tried to be as thorough as I can with the script
It did honestly feel really good to get back on set again!
A lot of people say that video essays can do good and make positive changes; I've often brushed that kind of thing off, but this time I've tried to take it seriously as a possibility. I hope the work I've put in shines through when you watch it!
Thank you all for being so patient whilst I've been recovering from surgery. I am going to try and get this video out for Friday! A lot of the preliminary editing on the titles and so on is already done, so hopefully I will have screenshots for you soon!

Because her lifelong hippy anti-vax position has now caused her to swing from a leftist Green Party member, to a Fox News/OAN conservative, abandoning many of the values she once held (and instilled in me) because those are the only sources of information that will keep lying to her about the Covid vaccines... I've shared your videos with her in the past on issues that she wanted to be more informed about (Cancel Culture, Antisemitism and Elites Breaking Rules), so maybe she'll be open to it.
