Hello lovely Patrons!

The next video is looking gorgeous - here are some screenshots for you!

I upped the saturation and the exposure a little in post to really make that white background pop - reminds me of the old days of Philosophy Tube Season 2 when I used to shoot everything on a white background!

I always like doing shots like this where you get to see a bit of the setup

The video is in four parts (not 100 - I just decided to label them in binary for fun) and I'm quite pleased with how the fourth one ties everything together. The script ranges quite far and then it all slots into place at the end; I think in terms of writing this is one of my best

We'll start off by learning what transhumanism actually is

Then we'll do a deep dive on some philosophy of technology; I find this stuff fascinating, I hope you do too!

And it'll include some phenomenology! (If you've been watching the show for a while you might recognise that hammer from Data haha!)

In Part 3 we'll talk about right wing conspiracy theories and how transhumanism is increasingly featuring in them - plus how it figures in the Russian invasion of Ukraine

I'll be citing Dan Olson's amazing video In Search of A Flat Earth, but don't worry you don't need to have seen it to understand what I'm talking about

Kelly Slaughter has two segments: she exists to illustrate the concepts we'll be discussing and prompt some critical engagement - basically I'll teach you some ideas and then you can test them out by applying them to her!

I'm really happy with how this one is coming together! The editing is almost done, and then I just need to upload and get the subtitles done and I'll be able to put it out for $15+ Patrons! We're on target for a general release on April 22nd.
