BTS Pics - "The Social Contract"

Hello lovely patrons! We just wrapped on my next episode - working title The Social Contract. Here's some pictures from the set!

The name more or less tells you what it's about haha - we'll be looking at social contract theory!

Some contracts come with devilish hidden catches though, so I summoned demon lawyer Trixie Mephistopheles to help me with the fine print!

Long time viewers of the show might recognise those wings from a very old episode on Jordan Peterson haha - it's good to have an excuse to dust them off!

We'll also be looking at some criticisms of social contract theory, especially the work of radical feminist thinker Carole Pateman!

Nicki Buglewicz returned once again to do the hair and makeup, and as usual she did a fantastic job!

Using victory curls to suggest the shape of horns was Nicki's idea - a stroke of absolute genius!

In a fun coincidence, today is actually the 9 year anniversary of the first episode of Philosophy Tube! We've certainly come a long way!

The philosophy in this one gets good and technical, especially in the Carole Pateman section - I'm pleased with how the script turned out

We'll also be tackling some Critical Race Theory!

I've got a good feeling about this episode, I think it's going to strike a good balance between brains and beauty!

By the way, you're going to want to stick around at the end for a special announcement about something... This video won't be made available early for patrons - for reasons that will become clear, I need that announcement to go out simultaneously for everyone. I'm aiming to have it out on the 14th of June, which I realise is an unusual date, but trust me: you're going to want to watch this one live when it premieres!

In the meantime, I will start the editing!
