The sonic movie franchise should make a shadow spin off movie and have Black Doom as the villain. I mean even though in the game, Shadow was created on the Ark by humans, in the movie they can write that Shadow was already created by Black Doom in space without the help of Robotnik to make a reason why Black Doom would appear.

Also the cutscene before you uploaded showed Shadow viewing Sonic while he was doing Sonic Generations. When you reach that part in Sonic Generations, you'll have to fight Shadow as a boss. Also, Sonic wasn't with Gerald. He was elsewhere.
