I refuse to say charCUTE in place of charcuterie. This word play, like "vacay" and "bougie", makes my brain feel like its oozing out of my ear holes.
With that said, I await with morbid fascination to see what people will come up with in place of "hors d'oeuvres".

Are you serious? 20 bucks for a pack of cigarettes?

Cigarettes are something like $20 per pack in New York. The smuggling is done in the "dark web" and by that I mean the regular Internet and some people buy Russian branded American cigarettes for pennies on the dollar. But I'm not keyed into the black market enough to know where to buy them by the pack, only where my buddy told me be bought them by the case. They were essentially exported American cigarettes, Marlboro red label hard packs, shipped in from overseas. It's nuts. Just goes to show, every tax and every restriction just creates a successful black market that avoids all of it.
