Gods calendar concept
Added 2024-07-27 22:32:26 +0000 UTCnormally I keep my sketches only for the Small Turtles but if you've been in the discord server you probably have seen those already in the last few days, but I thought I could show it to all my patrons here too! and I could get feedback and maybe some extra ideas~
so I got attached to this crazy idea of making a full 2025 calendar with my Nature Gods AU, I have this very specific vision for it, it would be only (traditional) black & white line art illustrations, but wherever the gods are wearing gold and silver and such I could have it printed with metallic foil accents, wouldn't it look soooo pretty?? I'm going for pretty haha
these are the sketches I have so far and I wanted to ask your thoughts on them, like which are the best ones that that are perfect as is, if there's things you'd change on the sketches already there, move one to a different month, idea for whoever I could put in the missing month (can be a repeat character, this calendar is unashamedly krbkdk-leaning XD) or specific ideas for the krbkdk final image in december, etc
will appreciate any and all feedback!
I'm also thinking I might skip the art poll for August so I can focus on this project, but you'd still get to see all these illustrations as exclusives as I finish them, so I think that'd still be fun!

It has been a while since I had a wall calendar, but I would be happy to get back into them for 2025 ๐ With how you spaced the images, I immediately imagined a continuation of Kirishima's story in August. It feels like the calendar has a theme already at it's core, so it makes sense to me that there would be another piece following the story of how Kirishima became a god. Having said that, you really made a cool design in Shinsou's moon god, so I can see why so many others want more of him! I imagine he would introduce more silver into the foil accents. Though, I believe Todoroki would also help in that department... I don't envy your position in having to choose lol I look forward to seeing which way you decide to go!

2024-07-27 23:30:01 +0000 UTCThrowing in another vote for moon god Shinsou! KRBKDK to end the year is great, but you could also use Shinsou for December because of the winter solstice (longest night) and do KRBKDK for August summertime fun.

2024-07-27 23:23:45 +0000 UTCLove these and I can't wait to see them all foiled up!! The sun/moon aesthetic will be particularly bad ass with the contrast of gold and silver. Maybe tilting and mixing up that border between them a little as whispy swirls of the two colors will spice it up a little? And sprinkling January with silver as falling snow would be so stunning! My only thoughts on the missing month would be TodoDeku for July being spicy and then maybe do a fall Midoriya for August? I really love his design and would love to see it incorporated! Or if you decide to pull away from krbkdk maybe you could do another one with with Shinso with silver moonlight on falling water/pools cus i feel like a night scene would be really good for that b/w and foil aesthetic. For the last one maybe KrBkDk laying on each other through filtered sunlight? Stacked kiri on bottom for earth, Deku for plants, and Baku for the sun just being soft and doting or krbk smoothering/smooching a sleepy Deku between them and keeping him warm in the snow? Dunno if they do red foil, but that last one of just Kiri would be so cute with red, like he's come into his own instead of wearing just gold/Bakugo's color. Seeing him grow through this calendar from just a follower to a God is ๐จโ๐ณ๐๐ Can't wait to see this all finalized, love this idea!
