2025-05-28 03:14:45 +0000 UTCTbf Uryuu talking about how Quincy tried to dialogue with Soul Society and how they always received a "Don't interfere with our work" response, was after the Shinigami got tired and exterminated the Quincy, 200 years ago. So he wasn't too biased. The fact was that: the Quincy were always so unwilling to dialogue, that bringed the Shinigami to the point of deciding to exterminate them in order to stop them. And at that point, the Shinigami were no longer willing to engage in dialogue or retract their choises. For this reason the few remaining Quincy survivors like Sōken Ishida, found themselves with Shinigami that were already actively against them because of their predecessors.

2025-05-27 18:03:49 +0000 UTCYou've gotten to the point that I feel every fan who tries to sympathize with the Quincies and say they're "morally grey" conveniently forgets. Glad to see you immediately caught on to how the perspective was skewed by Uryuu's bias early on.
