Really glad for you to read this story. Might be my favourite manga of all time, though bleach is very close. If you might connect to it and think about watching the anime, I would highly advise you to watch the 1999 Version until a certain arc is over and then switch to 2011 for the later arcs. So you get the best of both worlds. The charm, art and faithfulness of the old one on the early arcs and the action and colourfulness of the new one in the later arcs. It works seeminglessly, not like the fullmetal-alchemist situation at all. Both anime are quite faithful to the manga, both with their strenghts and weaknesses, but neither really starts to make shit up besides 1 or 2 filler episodes here and there (which are also great and fit the canon stuff really well).

2025-08-04 22:08:07 +0000 UTCHxH is either my 2nd or 3rd favorite shonen, it goes back and forth with FMAB (my favorite is bleach), so given how much you like the other two you'd probably enjoy this one a lot!!
