Remember how Aizen said how two-dimensional beings can't be sensed by one-dimensional beings during his final fight against Ichigo? That's what's happened here. Kenpachi was so high above Gremmy in terms of power that he had to reduce his power level to match Gremmy's power level, thus bringing him down to a level where he could be sensed by his squad members. And if Kenny is matching Gremmy in power levels, then the latter can't simply imagine him dead, as you need to be significantly strong for that to happen.

2025-08-27 03:10:37 +0000 UTCIt's been shown before that a large enough difference in reiatsu jjst negates has, like when soi fons shikai didn't work on aizen, so Grammy can't just directly kill kenpachi, he has to imagine things around him. Like realize how he never directly effected kenpachis body at all, just made lava, water, outer space around him etc
