Nezuko being under a hypnotic suggestion was one of the things that originally didn't sit super well with me when I watched the show. Kind of felt like it erased some of her agency as a character as well as the tension that would have come with her consistent need to fight off her hunger. It's not actually as bad as all that, but this had been one of my wrong expectations that had hurt my experience with the show initially. However, the Muzan introduction absolutely was fire. They gave him such an intense opening scene. A silent terror, just strutting down Main Street.
