hey, I just wanna drop this comment now since kurapikas has now shown his scarlett eyes for the first time: there is a special oneshot covering kurapikas backstory called "volume0: kurapikas memories". It is 2 chapters long and published outside of the manga. No idea when an ideal time would be to read it but since it is very detached from the main story, there should not be any spoilers in it anyway. Make sure to read it in your journey through this story, it is absolutly fantastic. You can find the translated special chapters online.
