Imagine if smell were sound. Skunk smell doesn't smell bad, but it's so loud and noisy that it hurts your ears. It's the smell of someone shouting in your nose: "HEY! I SMELL LIKE THIS! GO AWAY NOW, BAD ANIMALS! YOU CAN'T SMELL ANYTHING ELSE, NOW!" Sprayed from the scared skunk's butt at hungry animals like a can of pepper spray.

2021-12-09 05:05:05 +0000 UTCHow to describe the smell... It's not like, a decaying, garbage-y smell. It doesn't smell like burning food, exactly, either. It's almost like... armpit-scented perfume made into a sharp weapon to blind you. Almost electrical. It's actually quite nice, at a distance.
