It is a perfect show case of how powerful rick is, but also how he is actually more of a villain than a hero. He showed us that he could have saved this Solar System single-handedly while being shit faced drunk. The only reason he did it the end though, is not because he cared about anything, but rather just to prove that the Vindicators suck. And to top it all off, the Saw game he started to do that, was rigged with shitty neutrino bombs able to destroy the Planet or even Solar System, so he killed the Villain and became an even greater Villain, just because nobody laughed at his Jokes and Morty liked them more than him. It just shows so well who Rick really is.
