I'm just looking at the soundtrack listing on Spotify, and the music which plays when 'Marlon' is telling Truman that "the last thing I'd ever do is lie to you" is called 'Living Waters'. I guess that's comparing his cruelly faked social relationships to the waters around the island. Both being obstacles to him finding his way out.

Haha, yes, it's funny watching this again so soon after The Shawshank Redemption! That really was a brilliant performance from Jim Carey, wasn't it? Can you imagine what his life would be like after that? Hopefully Sylvia and people like her would be able to give him enough emotional support for him to be able to process things and move on from it all in some way. He'd be owed an awful lot of money in damages! The soundtrack is great. I love the music when he begins to realize that things are wrong with the world.
