Hm... so they had Mark and Amber break up BEFORE Angstrom Levy, and they didn't have Angstrom Levy bring some of the parallel evil Marks in to soften up Mark.
Maybe in the end it all comes out in the wash, and certainly I'm primed to like the first version I consume... the Amber/Mark breakup was well-done, as you commented... I guess I appreciate how they made it cleaner, both Mark and Amber came out of it looking better for it (and a 3rd character that I won't mention), although making it cleaner also makes for less tension...
Okay, so now I've finished the episode/season. So, in the comic it was still the Guardians who saved Mark, Eve let Mark knew how she felt... and since that was before Mark and Amber broke up, that fucked with Mark. Part of me thought, before that moment happened in the episode, that the comic did it better; fucking with Mark adds more drama and tension, and in a way that is organic (it's not like the sitcom thing, where it's all a misunderstanding, where it'd all be cleared up with one conversation). BUT I guess if you're trying to clean some stuff up, with only 8 episodes per season, if you want to clean that up to make the most of a few of the other threads, then that decision makes sense.
And I guess that Angstrom not bringing in any of the evil Marks to soften up *our* Mark prior to taking him to the other planet (and then getting his ass just completely handed to him)... doesn't really affect the story. Maybe bringing in evil Marks made that specific battle with Angstrom that much tougher, but you'd've maybe needed more than one episode to do it justice. And again, they only have so much time, so they decided to trim that part. I'm cool with it.
Anissa left Mark un-assaulted though. That had major repercussions down the line. I feel like the writers of the show pulled their punches on that one.

Speaking of which, there's an X-Man called "Multiple Man" who has those powers. He can make copies and have each copy spend weeks, months, years learning a talent, then merge and have that talent. So he can make 100 him, spend a year working to become an expert on 100 different things, then merge and be impossibly talented.
So... obviously we don't know if Multi-Kate can do that too, but I saw her in the gym a few episodes ago and only ONE was working out while the others watched. Seems like a waste, an inefficient use of time. Have one work legs, the other work core, the other work back/chest, the other work bi/tri... get 4 workouts in 1. You idiot.

Yeah OBVIOUSLY the woman who only dies if ALL of her copies die hid a copy far far away from battle. How dumb would it have been to not do that?
(Like, I knew because I'd read the comic before, but I knew even reading the comic when it happened because OF COURSE she kept a copy safe.)

Good reaction. And I like the new chair. You might want to increase the show picture size - with everything whitish now it feels even smaller and there is a fair bit of space between it and you.
