Fun fact one of the cops is actually Buzz from Community and Mike from Breaking Bad. Also the studio was against the casting of the actress who played Kate as she was mostly known for having done a topless scene in Fast Times At Ridgemont High

2024-12-27 05:34:56 +0000 UTCSome miscellaneous thoughts -Christmas is all around us... -You can see the through line from Gizmo to Baby Yoda... -I said I'm not a big Christmas movie guy; I find them to be, typically, saccharine and lacking in subtlety. That's why I lean toward Die Hard, I forgot about Gremlins but signed up for it when I was reminded... but I recently remembered about Sandler's most underrated movie, "8 Crazy Nights". Not technically a Christmas movie, but close enough; that's what I'm pushing for next year.
