A few days ago I asked for some recommendations on shows currently airing and / or short, that we could tackle quicker that the other shows on my current list. Depending on how long it actually takes us, we can start with the first place, then the second and so on...Here are the nominees:

I just saw that the poll has ended. Severance is certainly a very good show and I’m not surprised that it has won as it’s currently airing and has a lot of buzz although I would have liked for a show to win that is less commonly reacted to.

2025-01-20 04:44:43 +0000 UTCI think that BMS is, at its worst, a pretty mediocre, crude/teen comedy humor show and really isn't even good enough to have on as background noise. (Maybe not full-on bad, but not good either.) But at its best it's fucking great. I voted for it (among others) because, more than anything else, Thad Castle is a fucking icon, an all-time great tv show character, and it's fucking *disgraceful* that he will be remembered as Reacher, that an actor with his comedic chops might not ever again get the chance to flex those comedic muscles because his role as Reacher will probably overshadow his comedic sensibilities. "He was a receiver and he was in my zone. Anybody who comes in my zone gets laid out. That's what I do: I LAY PEOPLE OUT!"
