Broken CC Chairs | Sims 4 Updates

Hey everyone!
Many of you have asked why cc chairs are not working in-game. This is due to the latest sims 4 update!
As usual, when The Sims have a major update something is bound to break. This time with the new addition of bunk beds and modular placement of objects, somewhere along the way cc chairs have been affected causing sims not to be able to sit on them.
In times like these, you have a few options on how to move forward. You can either try to fix them yourself. There are a few tutorials on how to do this. Wait and redownload the chairs from the creator, if they put out a fix. Or, wait for a batch fix to be created by Sims4Studio (Best Option)
There is currently a batch fix out but it's not perfect.
Excerpt from Sims4Studio:
"New in version 3.1.4.9: Added a temporary batch fix for the chair/barstool issue from the March 2021 patch. NOTE: This will remove all custom chairs from saved games, but they will work again once you re-buy them."
FUTURE RECOMMENDATIONS
You Do Not Have To Update Immediately!
If you use a good amount of cc and mods, I recommend you do not update your game until you know of everything that has been broken. I haven't updated my game yet, to avoid this issue altogether.
How to play The Sims without updating??
- Turn off Automatic Game Updates under Application Settings
- Go offline whenever you ready to start up the sims 4
- Start the game! π
- Go back online once the game has started to use the Gallery

(not wishing a broken game on anybody, i just assumed it was only my game that was having this issue!) i download a gang of cc daily, and i've been through my mods folder countless times with no luck on finding the issue. when i tried to search for the cause, i couldn't find any answers. needless to say, i'm glad i'm not alone in this. thank you!! π
