Another Store is imploding.
Added 2025-07-24 15:29:51 +0000 UTCMost of you may already have heard but it seems that Itch. io will soon also start to Ban everything NSFW related. They haven't made any final decision yet or at least not one that has put my store in danger yet but soon they will take action one way or another, I am already searching for new options for a store to sell my STLs.
Just like it happened with Gumroad, I recommend all of you to make a backup of the models you have bought just in case you lose access to them, I hope it doesn't happen like with Gumroad but we never know.
This is quite frustrating because me and other artists are just trying to make art, we quite literally don't do any harm to anybody and it's sad that we are constantly being affected this way.
I am very sorry if this causes any kind of inconvenience to any of you and thank you very much for all your support.

Unfortunately thats not how petitions work. Petitions don't actually do anything. They can't legally force private companies to do what you want. They really only have standing when it's to change something in the government or a government controlled entity. At most, they just show that a certain amount of people want something, but private companies (Which all credit card and payment prcessing companies are) can just ignore it.

2025-07-24 23:58:39 +0000 UTCI think patreon also allows for direct sales to paid and unpaid members. I got an email a while back when they introduced the idea. It was an email aimed toward creators, so I'm not sure why I got it lol. I didn't look at it too much because I'm not a creator, so I don't know exactly how it works or if there are seller fees or any type of restrictions. I know I mentioned cult3d before, when they moved from gumroad, but they decided itch.io was the better option at the time.
