Is Past Abuse Reportable? Can I do Exposure Therapy to Myself? What Do Dreams Mean?
Added 2017-07-13 19:16:04 +0000 UTC1. Hi Kati, tough question... in regards to your video "help I’ve been abused and then I abused" from 3 months ago. If we begin to talk to our therapist about this, is it a reportable offense in CA even though the abusive behavior happened only when we were kids.and we're not even entirely sure why we behaved in such a horrible way? It is something that I regret so so much and now have children of my own. It is such a heavy thing carry alone, but I'm not sure if it's safe to talk about. I'm also terrified of my therapist reaction, if it's reportable, and if she'll see me differently or jump ship... it's such a ugly, messy, dysfunctional topic :(
2. Hi Kati, I have been diagnosed with OCD for 15 years. I'm on medication and haven't been able to get therapy (I'm in the UK), how can I help myself? Can I do exposure therapy by myself? Hey Kati can you talk about dreams like what does it mean when you dream about a lost relationship I think about the situation a lot through the day and then end up dreaming about it at night which just increases the sadness. I feel like I can't escape. Keep in mind that I can't go to therapy I lost my job also I am having to try and get on disability due to chronic pain so this will be a long process.
