1. Hey Kati! I am just wondering about the place of grieving in trauma work? Also, any tips on how to get better with connecting with the body, so I don't feel perpetually either depersonalized or disgusted by it (can't pin down a reason of why)? Thanks heaps!!
2. I have a family holiday coming up, it's our first one in more than 10 years. While I'm excited about my first time overseas I'm nervous about coping for two weeks with my family when I normally wouldn't choose to spend that long with them at once and can find them triggering and overwhelming at times. I'm trying to prepare the best I can for being proactive about boundaries and needing some alone time for self-care but do you have any other advice for managing with family when you're together for longer than normal and in a new environment?
3. Is it normal to dissociate when reliving sexual trauma to the point when your back to the here and now and find yourself partially unclothed?
