Production Update! Issues 5 + 6 have been shot!

I've developed and am working on selects with Issue 5 with Tash Knox. I did my first shoot with Tash two years ago, and she reached out and made sure to complete the ONLINE issue before she moved to London! Which was awesome, it was a rapid, let's find the best worst time to do this, whilst she tried to uproot her entire life, but the photos have a really cool vibe to them, and I can't wait to work through that!

Issue 6: I need to scan and develop the film with Jenny Annabel. She reached out after I did this shoot with one of her friends Genny Shawcross from Love Island US.

For Issues 7, 8, 9, 10...

I've been banking on these shoots, but the weather is likely to make this coming together difficult. I have reached out to around 50 models. Around 25 said yes, around 20 didn't reply, and five said nope. A reply is pretty much a no, but that can change.

The one name people have asked for is Ella Cervetto, given our past work together. She’s said “not this year,” and I respect that. She’s still dealing with men who’ve sent her unsolicited messages, even dick pics, off the back of a shoot we did last year ago. Hell, some even accidentally send them to me in their DMs for her. And without fail, they’re always shrivelled, small, and deeply embarrassing.

I’m sharing this not to shock, but to say: if you’re here, I hope it’s because you see these women for what they truly are—beautiful, sexy, interesting, elegant—and of course, I find them attractive. I’m a straight guy, that’s not something I need to hide. But I refuse to reduce them to something two-dimensional. So many of these women are my friends. They’re full, complex people with lives, boundaries, and agency—and I treat them as such. Gorgeous, yes, but also powerful, creative, intelligent and worthy of your respect. So sharing this, I hope you treat them with the same agency — because here are four of the girls who are coming shortly!

Soul Orth I did this shoot last year which was incredible, and we've been trying to tee this up since I launched, but every time, the weather turns, like it's been so difficult to make this work, but if this first shoot is anything to go by, this will be stunning!

Liana Clark, I shot back in 2021, and it was a really good one, she was signed with Priscillas models when she was younger, and I think much like many girls who have been with that agency, it was tough, so many girls at that agency end up with really bad eating disorders, they aren't kind to young women, and it definitely shows. I've been talking about round two with Liana for ages. Here's where I am transparent with everyone: I generally charge for shoots. I have to, shooting on film is expensive, and if I want to do this properly, it's like $400 a shoot just to put it together, which has been an insane expense. Models help me cover my costs, but bookings have been harder, and many girls either can't afford me, or don't want to pay, and fair enough, there are so many photographers doing what I do for free. I don't think they do it as well, but free is well... Free!

I caught up with Gracie Smith, who was the most requested submission (that I can logically do). She's said yes, but that will probably take a while because she wants to find a concept she loves. Generally, that's the hardest part! But I think if this shoot was anything to go by, it'll be really cool!

I had Anna Chernyakova who I absolutely love working with reach out with a concept this week, so we'll start putting that together, but it's likely to take a bit. Just as we want a great indoor location that tells a story, it can be fairly expensive. Anna, we will likely try to find ways to make sure it feels super tasteful and intimate. She's fantastic, but she is studying to be a doctor, so it's making sure these don't come to bite her in the ass. There's so much politics, and the last thing I want to do is affect what she wants to do. She's super lovely, and I always love what we create!

Again, this is all tentative, but I appreciate the support, as do the models! I want to make this more lucrative. At the moment, this has really helped cut production costs down, and I really do love being able to build something. So thank you! I want to get to the point where, I can push shoots further, try more interesting things, go away for a few days, and focus on creating something that has more looks, mood, depth and feels more intimate, but this is all progress! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
