I'll finally be revealing the cover of my 1st MM Urban Fantasy novel next week!

Howdy everyone!

As many of you know, in addition to my comics, almost two years ago I started working on my first novel, a New Adult MM Urban Fantasy story in the vein of Rainbow Rowell's Simon Snow trilogy, David R. Slayton's Adam Binder series, Kai Butler's San Amaro series, and K.D. Edwards The Tarot Sequence series.

The story follows a timid incubus who's never fed on a soul—until he's forced to steal a magical artifact and discovers there's a sweet, imprisoned spirit inside who might be worth risking everything for.

Well, I'm very happy to say the writing is complete and I finally have a publication date: November 10, 2025!

My series is actually a duet—a story told over two novels—and I'll be publishing both books on the same day.

There are a lot of cool things I'll have to share with you over the next few months, including the titles and what the story is about. But one of the coolest things I have to share are the books' covers. You can see a teaser for the cover of Book 1 above.

I've worked with the cover designer on the full cover of this book for months, and I'm thrilled with how it's come out. I still need to do a little work on my end to get it ready, but I'll reveal the full cover in a patron-only post next Monday (July 28th). I think you're going to love it!

When I share the cover, I'll also reveal Book 1's title, its blurb, and I'll share a link to an ARC Sign-up form.

ARC stands for Advanced Reader Copy. These are free, digital versions of the book I send out ahead of publication in the hopes of getting reviews on Amazon and elsewhere on launch day. I only have a limited number of slots for those but I wanted to give y'all, my strongest supporters, the opportunity to sign up first. You'll get to sign up to receive a free copy starting July 28th. I've worked very hard on these two books, but I honestly haven't had this much fun writing since I first created Artifice. I truly do think it's the best thing I've ever written.

While I've published graphic novels before, prose novels are obviously a new thing for me, and I'm going to do everything I can to get the word out before November 10. But I've been most excited to share all this with you. Many of you have been following my work for years. And it's only because of the support I get on Patreon that I'm even able to tell my stories at all. I really want to make you proud.
