Added 2022-12-17 17:48:39 +0000 UTCThey're watching Aliens right now. We had to make a couple of intermissions during the recording so far, because of Santa on a firetruck, who decided to visit our street a week early, for some reason. Quite loud. It'll be a fun video to edit.๐
I'm loving their reaction so far. Some of the faces they've been making during intense moments are priceless!

Ha! I think you overestimate my editing skills. We should approach whoever made The Phantom Edit 20 or so years ago. Now that's talent! ๐

2022-12-27 12:49:56 +0000 UTCwe need a third version! the "Reactor's Cut" - about 2 minutes of footage from the extended cut spliced back into the theatrical cut! if Shia LaBeouf can do a wacky conversion of the Star wars prequel trilogy, surely you can do that to Aliens! ๐

2022-12-27 12:43:12 +0000 UTCThey watched the theatrical release. We counted the suggestions in comments, and it was very close, but the theatrical won out. My personal opinion is that the theatrical release is the better film, but I do think that the little tidbit about Ripley's daughter in the director's cut adds a bit more depth to her relationship with Newt. The current order of full length reaction releases is Knives Out, The Raid 2, and then Aliens. So it'll be here either next week, or the week after. I hope you'll enjoy it!

2022-12-27 12:36:05 +0000 UTCcant wait to see this reaction! Aliens is a long time favorite. but i am curious - will it be the theatrical release, or the directors cut? me, i think the directors cut is a little over-hyped, but i think it does put back in a few items that shouldn't have been cut.

Both movies directed by James Cameron also Bill Paxton was in the first The Terminator. He was one of the thugs in the very beginning of the movie and he was also in Aliens
