Firefly Episode 10 Full Length Reaction (Hannah and Toy)
Added 2023-07-12 16:00:12 +0000 UTCThank you for supporting us through Patreon! This is the first double digit episode of Firefly. We're getting closer and closer to the bittersweet end of this series. This video is the first published reaction with our new microphone setup. The mike is now mounted overhead, with the goal of reducing interference caused by Shadow providing his feedback by trying to move the microphone arm around.
As always, we watched the episode on Amazon Prime. It starts at the 3 minutes and 32 seconds mark.

Good job Hannah seeing the true-self theme in this ep. You gals do notice some things other creators miss. No power in the 'Verse can stop me from liking your Firefly reactions! Fun fact: This is the only ep in which Ron Glass has to speak any Mandarin, and it was a mouthful. Book must really have to get super upset to speak Chinese. I guess seeing Mal's severed ear did it.

Also, Alan was amazing acting that scene. Even though it is a tough watch for a first-timer, I find that scene among the funniest in the entire show. Other fun stuff include Book's remark about kneecaps and of course Mal's whole interaction with Niska and his crony right up to "No it ain't!" after Zoe says the Captain must do this himself. LOL Then there's Jayne's infamous and most-quoted-line from the whole show.

2024-01-26 02:39:00 +0000 UTCThis episode was so great because it really establishes just how scary/awesome River is (even though it frightened Kayley). It also just left us starving for more information on Shepherd Book's past! I loved the reactions in this and Hannah/Toy's expressions were priceless. I did come up with an interesting idea for merch for you guys. It would be really cool if there was a t-shirt with a drawing of the Serenity crew but with all of you guys actually cosplaying as them, with like one of the tag lines from the show like "no power in the verse can stop me" or something, possibly changed to avoid copyright issues to something like "no power on the net can stop me". Just a thought. Even if you don't use it, I wonder what the girls think is the crew member they most identify with?

However, if you go back all the way to the very first episode, Wash was complaining that he and Zoe couldn't do anything unless they got permission from Mal. Wash's complaint wasn't really driven by sexual jealousy. It's more like the annoyance of being married, but living with your in-laws in their house, where you aren't really in control of your own lives.
