Back to the Future Full Length Reaction (Hannah and Baylee)

Thank you for supporting us here and making this possible! This is the long-awaited Back to the Future reaction. This has been one of the most requested reactions for a long time and with Baylee being added to our family, it is finally a reality. BttF is Tori's favorite movie series and Toy loves these films a lot as well. They were both so excited to have Hannah and Baylee finally discover these movies. And as for Baylee and Hannah, they were just as thrilled to finally watch this classic.

We watched the film on Amazon Prime. The movie starts at the 2 minutes and 1 second mark.

Great Scott!

Maybe it would go quicker if you had a time machine? :-)

Thanks so much for watching the reaction. At the end of the day, the purpose of recording reactions is to have fun. I am really glad that you had fun and I am glad you will continue to enjoy the future videos. Hannah is currently out of town, but when she returns, she and Baylee will watch the third movie. The reaction to the second one should be coming within the next week. The timing depends on when we can get to finish post-production on the video.

I have mixed feelings about this. I could see that Hannah and Baylee enjoyed themselves, but they tended to talk alot during the exposition. If you talk through it you can miss things and get confused later in the movie, A few times along they seemed confused because they missed what was said or shown earlier. The first time Marty went home he went past the Lyon Estates entrance, but when Marty stopped there in 1955, it struck him that his home didn't even exist, but H&B didn't know what the significance of the sign was, so they missed this emotional moment. Also, Doc told Marty that the plutonioum is what generates 1.21 gigawatts of electricity that powers the flux capacitor. Since they didn't have any plutonium in 1955 they just got the electricity from the lightning. Even so, these are fun ladies to watch a movie with, and I'll do it again anytime!

This is the second time travel movie series to which we have recorded reactions. When Hannah and Tori watched The Terminator, the YouTube video was awash with very mean and downright hateful comments because they didn't immediately understand some of the plot points in the movie. I do not know what causes people to express such vitriol on the Internet, but I do know the impact this has on the recipient's mental health, which is why, nowadays, I delete those types of comments immediately. Just like I deleted a response that someone made here, to this very comment. I believe that Hannah's reaction to Back to the Future was the result of her emotional response to all of the backlash she received before. This became quite evident to me after we finished recording and discussed the result. When one is on edge, one tends to react in a much more critical way. Some days later, after giving it some thought, both Hannah and Baylee viewed the movie in a much more positive light. Sometimes I pause the movie, if they get too immersed and forget to verbalize their reactions, but I try to do this as sparingly as possible. But I do not think it would be appropriate to stop them from expressing their honest thoughts in the heat of the moment. The basis of what we do is an honest and unfiltered reaction to a film, regardless whether this reaction aligns with what people expect. Perhaps, in hindsight, we should have stopped the movie and resumed at a later day, when everyone was in a better frame of mind. I do not know. But I do know that we will never have a reaction that is not 100% authentic, even if the views expressed may not sit well with some viewers. Both Hannah and Baylee enjoyed Back to the Future 2 very much. I have a feeling that you will like that reaction a lot. :)

I'm about half way through the reaction, are you two nitpicking every little detail on purpose?
