Captain America: Civil War Full Length Reaction (Hannah and Tori)

Thank you for continuing to make all this possible with your support! This is the next milestone in Hannah and Tori's MCU exploration, the beginning of Phase 3.

As with all marvel films so far, we watched this one on Disney Plus. The film starts at the 1 minute and 48 seconds mark.

Hannah traveled to Bucharest earlier this year for a school conference. I do not recall whether she mentioned it in any recent video here, but she is currently studying for her PhD in Philosophy.

Great reaction as usual. I am intrigued though....why was Hannah in Bucharest? Just curious and find it fascinating. I always wanted to visit Romania myself. Also this movie brings up the interesting at look at "with great power comes great responsibility", but if you surrender your ability to choose your actions are you still responsible. At some point someone, the UN council or the heroes themselves, has to make the call and take the responsibility. Is it being responsible if you hand the right to make that decision over to someone else. Interesting discussion topic for sure.

Excellent timing for your question. The next MCU reaction will be showing up this week. :)

Any update on when the next MCU movie will be? To be honest those are the main reason I signed up for the Patreon. Been over two months and I'm just wondering if they will be continuing them :)

Very true! Even if you fall hard onto one side or the other you can at least understand where the other side is coming from. Stays true to the characters, and their motivations make sense even if you don't agree with their conclusions.

It is fascinating, how the fans of the MCU fall into Team Cap and Team Iron Man. I think it is a mark of an excellent film, when it sparks conversation.

Max Runner

Wow it was interesting to see people so against Cap in this. I personally can understand Tony's thought process for the accords but he is doing it for all the wrong reasons and he is just completely wrong by the end of it. Wrong about Bucky being the UN bomber, wrong about the super soldiers and very very wrong about blaming Bucky for something he literally had no control over. Hydra violated him to his very core and used his body in a way that he absolutely did not consent to. After a quarter century Tony should have had the presence of mind to not just mindlessly attack Steve and Bucky.

You have to keep in mind that they watch the films for the first time. There is a lot of material thrown at you in them and it is impossible to remember all the details. As a fan, you are exposed to social media and people around you who discuss these movies and keep them fresh in your mind. Plus, I'm assuming you watch them more than once. To be able to avoid spoilers, the girls aren't on social media, and so the details of all these movies aren't constantly refreshed for them. The point of movie reaction videos is to have fun. If they had to study up before filming each time, it would be a chore and the quality of the reactions would suffer.

Tony had surgery to remove the shrapnel from the area of his heart in iron man 3 so he doesn't need the arc reactor to survive.

They are watching a lot of content and to be honest they havnt watched a marvel film in a while so I'm not surprised they probably forgot some details. It would be different if they seen the movies several times but they only seen all of them once and it's easy to forget some stuff. Now the ant man one I was surprised and wondering did they watch the post credits scene because I didn't watch their reactions to that film.
