This is one of the reasons i've gotten into reactions, sure i've seen this movie a zillion times and might notice new things but you guys provide a shortcut to making the movie seem fresh again. Abby goes they are all the same person lol. Been watching all these since I was a kid on VHS, how did this not occur to me? First Blood: Green Beret Vietnam War veteran John Rambo Lethal Weapon: Martin Riggs (Gibson), a former Green Beret in Vietnam Predator: Vietnam War special ops veteran Major Alan "Dutch" Schaefer Sure you can say its a reflection of an aspect of potent American truama blablaba which is true but still, they are comically similar. Forest through the trees type of deal I guess, anyway I found that very funny.

2023-12-21 12:40:00 +0000 UTCSo noticed a few things when watching your reaction to this. First off there was a sticker on Murtaugh's refrigerator that says "Free South Africa. End Apartheid", if you react to the second movie you will understand why this is interesting to be in this one. Also the CIA Air America was mentioned which was a movie Mel Gibson would go on to do later on that CIA project.

I don't know how it is in other parts of the country, but here in Delaware County PA folks compete on who has the most obnoxious decorations. There's one street a couple of blocks away that attracts visitors from up and down the east coast with their elaborate setups.

Did you know the Murtaugh house is the neighbors house in Christmas Vacation. The houses are at a backlot of one of the film companies. I donβt remember the film company name on top of my mind atm lol
