Ok, glad you ladies enjoyed this one so much. It is definitely a fun movie to watch. I had a LOT of issues with this movie when it came out though because it diverges SO much from the comic source material. Ragnarok in the comics (and the mythology) is more of a war starting with the death of a character they hadn't even introduced in the movies, but he isn't the most interesting so I get that. Then Loki leading the forces of evil from various places against Asgard (instead of helping defend it), Thor dieing when facing the Midgard serpent which has also not been a part of the MCU, and eventually leading to Surtur destroying Asgard (probably the one thing in the whole movie they got accurate). Oh and Hela isn't Thor's sister in the comics. As for the up side, great soundtrack, the look being reminiscent of Jack Kirby's (co-creator and artist of many of these characters and a lot of the Marvel Comics characters and universe) style, finding a way to insert the World War Hulk storyline into this (which was all I really needed of that, but felt it took away from the Ragnarok story line itself), and finding the right balance of humor for this (which sadly gets way out of balance in some of the other movies after this). Oh, and Hannah, to the best of my recollection the change in Thor's hairstyle (even when it happened in the comics) didn't really have any special significance other than a different look/cosmetic change. Excited to see your reactions to the movies that are to come next! Great job as always!
