2024-05-18 15:00:47 +0000 UTCY'know, as funny as all four guys are in this movie, it's worth noting that the movie is a master class in how to do subtle comedy and not have to turn the actors up to 10 to get it. ... Also, this movie supports a theory I have for good story telling (particularly for a comedy) that there must be these "moments" where serious grounding still attaches the plot to earth and the audience, including 1) The twinkie conversation 2) the montage and music selection of the ghosts being released and of course 3) Winston and Ray returning to the city at sunrise talking about the book of Revelation (even though there's a joke in there too).

Also at some point a reaction to Stripes would be great (had Bill Murran and Harold Ramis in it again, as well as John Candy).

And for Hannah and Abbyβs info, the Michelin man (whose name is Bibendum) was created in the late 1800s as advertising at a Worldβs Fair in France. (I just watched a YouTube video giving the history). π
