2024-09-14 19:50:15 +0000 UTCThe little red Togurta( which is the species name) in the training room is named Ashla( which is also the name of the light side of the Force). Ashoka used the same name when she was hiding during the Empire. The creators of the Clone Wars series have said that they are NOT the same for the reason you gave. There are two reasons why Mace Windu( Samuel L. Jackson) has a purple lightsaber. First is the out of universe explanation, that is that Jackson wanted to find himself in the giant battle scene and his favorite color is purple. The in-universe explanation is that all lightsaber crystals( a critical element in creating a lightsaber) start out colorless until it resonates with the Force that makes it known to a particular Jedi while meditating, that it gains it’s color, usually Blue or Green. In extremely rare instances that a lightsaber crystal will emit a purple blade.

2024-09-14 00:43:45 +0000 UTCJust as Shakti was too old to have been Ahsoka, the youngling training with Yoda was likely too young to be Ahsoka, because in Clone Wars series it picks up just after the end of this movie and she is a young teenager in that (a bit old to have been one of the younglings with Yoda). Another great reaction!!
