Rogue One Full Length Reaction (Toy and Tori)

This is Toy's second time seeing the film. She was able to appreciate the movie so much better on her rewatch and enjoy Tori's introduction to it. We can't wait for you to enjoy this reaction. :)

2024-09-15 01:40:05 +0000 UTCShortly after this movie was released, Carrie Fisher( Princess Leia) passed away, so the final line of the movie took on new meaning The black stormtroopers are called Death Troopers, and they are the most elite troopers. The sound you hear when they talk to each other is a scrambler that renders their speech unintelligible to others while other Death Troopers can understand it because they can descramble the message. Did you know that there are little to no full pictures and video of Grand Moff Tarkin ( I mean showing his whole body). This was because his boots were too tight, so he asked if he could wear slippers, he did. He was wearing fuzzy slippers in most of the shots, and Carrie Fisher had trouble acting against him , he was threatening her , while wearing fuzzy slippers.

2024-09-15 01:15:52 +0000 UTCGreat reaction! Tori was definitely reflecting all our reactions to the death of all the characters and also to that scene at the end. I am surprised that Toy hadn't seen Saw Guerera in the animated series, since I thought she had watched all of them. He was in an episode of either Rebels or Bad Batch (not sure which). Definitely a great bridge between the prequels and the originals! Love how they were able to give us Moff Tarkin so many years after his death IRL. And the de-aging they did on Leia was amazing.

2024-09-09 00:29:19 +0000 UTCI understand this may not be the most popular opinion but Rogue One & Andor are my favorite Star War IPs. That isn't saying I don't absolutely love other movies, but at it's core Star War movies are about royalty and superhuman traits. But war and specifically rebellions are won by the everyman. It's the work of the pilot, or soldier on the line, or comms person that sacrifice themselves for something they believe in more than anything. In addition, the core movies are very clear cut with regards to good & evil. But this movie and Andor show that often times people have to do bad things and it's not so clear cut. Anyway, I loved the reaction! Thanks for doing it again!
