2024-09-14 19:57:44 +0000 UTCLove that you guys came around on Melissa. As a 10 year old I was always like f that b, she gettin' in the way of all the Tornado hijinks. But as an adult I think her performance is borderline too good for this movie. All they really needed is for her to be a stand-in for the audience but they wrote this fully realized person which although kind of doesn't fit the movie is so wonderfully performed. Like as a kid I wanted to be Bill but now I want to be Melissa, she's smart, caring, curious, and her mindfulness and wisdom in that moment ultimately saves them from a lot of heartache. Lol yep still talking about Twister here. Speed next? Doesn't get much more charming than Sandy in Speed.
