The Lion King Full Length Reaction (Hannah and Abby)

We filmed this reaction some weeks ago and it was slated to go on Patreon at some point within the next month or so, but we felt that it would be just to pay tribute to the amazing Mr. Jones by publishing it today. As it happened, Hannah was in the studio for a reaction today, so she and Boo were able to record an additional piece for the video's intro.
Hannah had wanted to watch The Lion King forever and Abby had called dibs on being the one to introduce her to this classic. Enjoy!
We watched the film on Disney Plus.

Also the part in the movie where Pumba goes "They call me.....Mister Pig!" is a reference to a quote from In The Heat of The Night, which is a classic movie (although I definitely preferred the TV show to the movie).

2024-09-12 14:40:56 +0000 UTCOne thing that they unintentionally got right is that the spotted hyenas are a matriarchal and Shenzi is the leader. The Spotted hyena is my favorite animal, however do not judge them based on their portrayal in this film.

2024-09-10 22:37:36 +0000 UTCThis is the very first movie I ever saw in theaters, and I absolutely love this movie. It is an absolute masterpiece. It soundtrack is definitely worth buying because it as amazing. Here is a fact that most people know but this film’s story is based “Hamlet”. Lion King II is based on “Romeo and Juliet”. Lion King 1 1/2 is based on “Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead”. It follows Timon and Pumbaa and is set during the original film. You should watch the Lion Guard which takes place after this movie but before the sequel and adds quite about of interesting lore. While the series is aimed at a younger audience it is still worth watching. Actually Simba and Nala have two kids, the first born Kiara and Kion, who is the main character in the Lion Guard show.
