2024-10-05 13:27:26 +0000 UTCThis was a childhood favorite of mine. (There was a “Matthew Quigley” in my high school, so I never found it to be an uncommon name.) And just to address the one scene where many people seem to get confused, I should point out that the aboriginal servant of Marston’s knocked Quigley out because he knew they would overwhelm him in a shootout, so in essence he was saving his life. You guys might enjoy “Her Alibi” (1989) if you wanted to see a more light-hearted Tom Selleck movie. And, of course, “Three Men And a Baby” (1987). That one might be a good Halloween pick since there has always been an urban legend around the movie that you can see a ghost in one of the scenes. Maybe you guys could try and spot it.
