Really enjoyed this reaction. Hope they have some after movie discussion for the YT edit. I loved when the space station got dissolved Toy was all like "Oh no!" and Hannah is sitting there with her adorable, evil grin! LOL!!! The closest comedic relief character I can think of for a Star Trek series would be from series Toy hasn't seen yet. But if you tell me it is ok, I will mention their names in a reply and what series they are from, but not more than that.

2024-11-05 08:22:21 +0000 UTCGene Roddenberry originally started writing scripts for another TV series which he called "Star Trek: Phase 2" but wound up using some ideas for this film and in early seasons of The Next Generation. Decker and Ilia also served as the basis for the Riker and Troi relationship. The Season 2 premiere for TNG "The Child" uses a script from Phase 2 as well.
