I have always loved all the great lines that Khan has in this, which I found out much later were quotes from Moby Dick (one of the books he had on the planet). I was surprised that David being Kirk's son seemed to get almost no reaction when it came up. I thought for sure that would get some kind of response, but c'est le vie. Amazing reaction to one of my all-time favorite movies!! Can't wait to see your reactions to the next movie!

2024-11-09 17:31:20 +0000 UTCI was born in 1980 so the first Star Trek film I saw in a theater was in 1986. The Wrath of Khan is by far one of the Star Trek films ever made and it introduced the uniforms that would be called "Monster Maroon." I actually bought one to wear for Halloween one year lol

2024-11-09 17:01:16 +0000 UTC“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times”, is the opening line to Charles Dickens’ “A Tale of Two Cities”, the book Spock gifted Kirk on his birthday. “It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done” is the last line from same book after a character sacrifices himself for the greater good. Always loved the way they spun that into the narrative.
