Great movie and great reaction. And unrelated but you mentioned it at the end, I'd HIGHLY recommend Men of Honor. It's not really a war movie and it's got great performances from Cuba Gooding, Charlize Theron, and my dude Robert DeNiro. "God damn it, I want my 12 steps! The Navy Diver is not a fighting man, he is a salvage expert. If it is lost underwater, he finds it. If it's sunk, he brings it up. If it's in the way, he moves it. If he's lucky, he will die young, 200 feet beneath the waves, for that is the closest he'll ever get to being a hero."

2024-12-13 07:39:21 +0000 UTCI completely didn't recognize Michael Rooker (aka Yondu from Guardians fo the Galaxy) as McMasters (the curly headed cowboy that they drag his body and leave him as a warning to Wyatt)! To answer Toy's question, the reason Doc laughs at his bare feet at the end is because he finds it funny after such a violent life, that he is dieing in bed and not with his boots on. A couple of other great westerns to check out Rio Bravo, Rooster Cogburn (the original), The Sons of Katie Elder, The Good/The Bad and the Ughly, Fist Full of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, and High Plains Drifter.
