Here's a step-by-step process of recent Elsa picture (Original lineart done by Legoman)
It was quite cool to work on her, especially since Legoman gave her a thick body and a big butt. The face was probably the most challenging part since i wanted to make it close to original Elsa from the movie and yet keep the expression from the lineart.

Thank you for the compliment! I'm using a pretty simple setup really, just placing a layer with lineart on top of the stack and setting it to a multiply, and all the color layers are placed below it in a normal mode. As i progress i'm basically erasing parts of the lineart layer when i'm not longer need those lines to hold the shapes. 2020-01-04 01:58:09 +0000 UTCI don't really know how to phrase this but I'd love to know how you organized the layers so that the colors look so vivid and vibrant. Especially since the WIP goes from sketch to color pretty quickly. I dunno if you've ever walked through your process in more detail but that would definitely be helpful. :)
