Hi all! Help me with Victor of Tucson book 5 title. If you're interested :)

So, to avoid spoilers, don't read further (I'm going to remind people what part of the story Book 5 covers.)

Spoilers incoming -

Book 5 is the part of the story where Victor and Valla come back from Zaafor (Coloss) and join up with the legion. They encounter the Ridonne armies and deal with that situation for about 20 chapters. :)

I've been thinking of the title as "Battlemaster" because of Victor's class and because it's his first time leading troops into warfare-like battles.

I even told the publisher that was the title, but then I thought about the chapter where Victor is picking his new Class and figured the book title would kind of ruin any tension in that chapter. Do you guys think that matters? Do you have a better idea?

I vote "Berserkers are Dumb" but thats just me being an asshole 😆

I don't think that I would get spoiled by that title. True Titan sounds good though.

Rage of the undying , Titans Conquest. Fall of the undying.

I agree that Battlemaster cheapens the reveal a little bit, but IMO it's not in the way you suggested. It's fine to know in advance how Victor will progress, but we don't know much about Battlemaster yet, do we? So it's a promise that's going to be fully explored later on, as I see it. *BUT* it's a perfectly good title. Nobody is going to reach book 5 and wonder if they should continue reading based on the title. NOBODY. If they don't want to know what's next, after having their horizons thoroughly expanded, then they probably have amnesia and forgot everything anyway. "Battlemaster" is perfectly fine as a title. It sets up a reveal that isn't quite as grand in the grand scheme of things, but I can't think of anything I like more, even with the other suggestions here. And above all else, the title makes sense. It is the culmination of his efforts so far. There are more epic milestones in the book, but they're not as singular.
